Would you say that learned behavior is more or less important to crocodiles than other reptiles?

I could not really say that as crocodiles may have variance in their mothering behavior that is purely instinctual, as you say; ” some do “, which implies some don’t.
I know nothing of mothering behavior being observed by another crocodile, though, as you say, some do mother well.
